Fractional Chief Marketing Officer

Senior marketing leadership, without the full-time hire.

Most of the companies I work with don't necessarily have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem — between strategy and execution, between marketing and sales, between what the business is doing and what it's trying to achieve.
As Fractional CMO, I own full marketing strategy and lead its execution — aligned with sales and revenue operations, not sitting apart from them. I'm a member of your leadership team for the duration of the engagement, accountable to business outcomes, not deliverables.
I work with a small number of clients at a time. When I'm in, I'm fully in.

How It Works

  • Own Full Marketing Strategy

I set the strategic direction for marketing and stay accountable to it — not a plan that sits in a deck, but the thing actually guiding decisions week to week.
  • Align Marketing With Sales and Revenue Operations

Growth breaks down at the handoffs. I work across marketing, sales, and customer success so the business operates as one revenue function instead of three disconnected teams.
  • Build Systems That Make Growth Repeatable

I build the infrastructure, including positioning, messaging, demand generation, and pipeline processes that keeps producing results after any single campaign ends.
  • Lead Execution, Team, and Vendor Management

Depending on what the business needs, I work alongside an existing team, become the team, or build one — hiring internally or managing outside vendors as the situation requires.

What You Get

Tell The Reader More

The headline and subheader tells us what you're offering, and the form header closes the deal. Over here you can explain why your offer is so great it's worth filling out a form for.

Remember:

  • Bullets are great
  • For spelling out benefits and
  • Turning visitors into leads.
  • Senior-Level Thinking

My full attention and judgment — not a junior team executing against a template. Every recommendation is grounded in your specific business context.

  • A Clear Starting Point

Every engagement begins with an honest assessment of where the business is, what's working, and where the friction is. No assumptions, no generic frameworks.

  • Defined Outcomes

We agree upfront on what success looks like, so you always know what we're working toward and how we're measuring progress.

  • Systems That Outlast the Engagement

My goal is never to create dependency. The frameworks, processes, and infrastructure we build together make your business stronger after I'm no longer in it.

  • Direct Communication

I tell you what I see, including what's uncomfortable. If something isn't working or the strategy needs to shift, you'll hear it from me directly.

  • Financial Services Fluency

I understand the regulatory environment, the trust-based sales dynamics, and the compliance constraints that shape how marketing works in your industry.

Fractional CMO engagements start at $15,000 per month.

Scope depends on the complexity of the business, the team in place, and the level of execution needed. This is a leadership role, not a project. Engagements are ongoing and typically run at least six to 18 months.

Not sure whether you need a Fractional CMO or a lighter engagement first? Tell me what the business is trying to accomplish and where the work is getting stuck. I'll tell you honestly which engagement makes sense.

Is This For You?

Fractional CMO works well when:

  • You need senior marketing leadership without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire.
  • Marketing and sales aren't operating as one aligned function.
  • You want someone accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables.
  • You're ready for a leadership-level partner, not a vendor to manage.
  • Your company is founder-led, with $2M–$50M in revenue, and has outgrown founder-led marketing.

If you want an experienced partner for high-level decisions but already have someone executing, Strategic Advisory is the better fit. If you want a defined, time-bound project instead of an ongoing role, look at a Growth Alignment Audit.
